Centre for Brahmavidya is a not-for-profit, charitable Trust established with the divine blessings of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Bharathi Theertha Mahaswamiji and His Holiness Sri Vidhushekhara Bharathi Swamiji of the Sringeri Sri Sharada Peetham. The mission of the Centre is to focus on philanthropic, charitable and social activities based on the strong foundation of Sanatana dharma, the Vedic religion of India and spread the wisdom of Brahma-vidya, the knowledge of the non-dual Supreme, enshrined in the Upanishads and elucidated upon by the Master Philosopher, Sri Adi Shankara Bhagavatpada. As one of the main activities, the Trust publishes, from time to time, books on the life, works and teachings of the Preceptors of Advaita, especially, the Jagadgurus of Sri Sringeri Sharada Peetham. The books are published at subsidised prices and are often made available for free download.
